I am a PhD candidate in Organizations and Markets (Applied Economics) at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), Brazil, where I work on energy economics under the supervision of Daniel de Abreu Pereira Uhr. My dissertation is a collection of essays in energy economics, and my broader research interests include law and economics, jurimetrics, and the economics of public policy.

My background is interdisciplinary: I hold degrees in Law (UFPel), Chemical Engineering (FURG), and Portuguese–Japanese Language and Literature (UNIFRAN), and a Master’s in Organizations and Markets (UFPel), with a thesis on the effects of harsher criminal laws — the case of the Maria da Penha Law in Brazil.

Alongside my research, I work as an administrative officer at UFPel, teach Japanese at Centro de Idiomas MAB, and work in localization for Crunchyroll and MX International.
